Arturia V Collection X Software Instrument Bundle

Arturia V Collection X Software Instrument Bundle

Since its inception in 1999 in Grenoble, France, Arturia has continuously pushed the boundaries of sonic innovation and technological advancement. Their commitment to advancing both physical and virtual realms of music production is exemplified in their acclaimed V Collection X. Now in its 10th iteration, this suite boasts over 10,000 meticulously crafted sounds spread across 39 virtual instruments. Arturia’s proprietary TAE and Phi modeling technologies have enabled them to recreate these instruments with remarkable precision. V Collection X not only includes the complete set of its predecessor but also introduces six new virtual instruments and three expansion packs, enhancing its versatility and appeal.

V Collection X is praised for its broad range of high-quality virtual instruments that cater to synthesists, producers, and studio professionals alike. The collection’s legacy continues Arturia’s tradition of excellence, delivering a powerful and inspiring array of tools that affirm their motto, “The Sound Explorers.”

What’s New in V Collection X?

V Collection X brings several exciting updates, including six new virtual instruments: the CP-70 V, MiniFreak V, and Acid V. Additionally, three new entries from the Augmented series make their debut: Augmented Brass, Augmented Grand Piano, and Augmented Woodwinds. These new additions expand the sonic possibilities of the collection significantly. The CP-70 V captures the essence of the iconic electro-acoustic piano with both sampled and modeled elements, incorporating advanced MIDI-compatible features and enhanced expressiveness.

The MiniFreak V, a digital counterpart to the beloved 37-key MiniFreak, leverages dual-oscillator architecture to create dynamic, evolving sounds. It offers multiple modulation options and an onboard effects engine that enhances its polyphonic synthesis capabilities. The Acid V pays homage to classic bass-synth sounds, incorporating modern features like a 64-step sequencer and various effects to produce complex bass lines.

The Augmented series introduces new dimensions to traditional instruments. The Augmented Grand Piano combines sampled and synthesized sounds, offering extensive patch-building capabilities. Similarly, Augmented Brass and Augmented Woodwinds blend sampled sounds with advanced synthesis engines to produce rich, evocative brass and woodwind tones. These instruments provide unique sound-shaping opportunities through their Morph controls, extensive modulation options, and a variety of effects.

CP-70 V: Expanded Electro-Acoustic Excellence

Arturia’s CP-70 V stands out for its detailed sampling combined with advanced physical modeling. By capturing the original instrument’s strings and circuits with precision, Arturia recreates the CP-70 V’s sound with remarkable authenticity. The inclusion of an extensive MIDI-compatible pedal rig adds further expressive potential, enhancing the classic electro-acoustic sound without altering its core character.

MiniFreak V: Limitless Virtuality

The MiniFreak V is a testament to Arturia’s prowess in synthesizer design. This virtual instrument mirrors its hardware counterpart’s dual-oscillator architecture, delivering dynamic sonics with multiple modulation lanes. Its powerful onboard effects engine and analog-style filtering offer a rich, responsive synthesis experience. With over 20 playing modes and a six-voice polyphony, the MiniFreak V is designed for creative sound design and seamless integration between virtual and physical realms.

Acid V: Lauded Synth-Bass Sonics, Reborn

Acid V revives the distinctive bass lines of ’80s and ’90s house, techno, and industrial music. This virtual instrument emulates the iconic bass-synth sounds with a dual-waveform design that retains the analog edge. Equipped with a 64-step sequencer, arpeggiator, and a variety of effects, Acid V offers a robust toolset for creating complex bass lines and sequences.

Augmented Grand Piano: Elevated Ebony and Ivory

The Augmented Grand Piano reimagines the classic grand piano with a blend of sampled and synthesized sounds. Its innovative Morph control allows for seamless transitions between sample-based and synthesized textures. With two sound sources per layer, extensive modulation options, and a 16-step arpeggiator, this virtual instrument provides a wide range of sonic possibilities.

Augmented Brass: Bold and Brash

Arturia’s Augmented Brass combines detailed sampling with advanced synthesis to produce versatile brass sounds. Its streamlined interface and powerful sound design tools enable users to create both traditional and experimental brass tones. The Augmented Brass is designed for a range of applications, from solo performances to full orchestral arrangements.

Augmented Woodwinds: Atmospheric and Electric Ambiance

The Augmented Woodwinds virtual instrument merges acoustic woodwind sounds with synthesized elements. Its Morph feature transforms natural woodwinds into diverse synthetic textures, supported by additional macros, effects, and modulation options. The dedicated Vibrato, Tremolo, and Arpeggiator modes enhance the depth and versatility of woodwind sounds.

All the Classics Return

V Collection X also includes a comprehensive catalog of Arturia’s classic synths, keyboards, organs, and pianos. This collection features iconic models such as the Korg MS-20 V, CS-80 V, Prophet-5 V, and many others. Additionally, digital synths, keyboards, and organs from the previous collections are included, along with the Augmented Strings and Voices.
